Today we would like to talk about the man who turned his old Dodge Colt into something you typically see at your county fair; a bumper car.

Not sure what a Dodge Colt is? This was a popular vehicle that was a staple of the Dodge lineup until production ceased in 1994. One automotive enthusiast in Utah decided to convert his 1984 Dodge Colt Turbo into a bumper car, something that sparked national coverage!

And while you might not see this 1984 Dodge Colt Turbo in a bumper car arena anytime soon, it certainly looks like it could. How did he do it? This vehicle has received heavy customization to give it a nearly identical appearance to a bumper car. The top has been taken off so you can climb in true bumper car style! There is also a custom black body kit that circles the entire vehicle. The final touch was a pole in the back, which is typically used to power bumper cars at the carnival!
