Pulling back the curtain on the 2015 Chrysler 200

Now that the new year has finally arrived, we couldn't be more excited about what the next 12 months have in store for our lineup here at Barry Sanders Supercenter. And now that we've gotten a sneak peek at what the 2015 Chrysler 200 has in store, the future can't get here fast enough.

As you've probably guessed, the 2015 Chrysler 200 won't be making its way to our dealership until later this year. Not only that, but we've still got another week until its big debut. But somehow, some way, our friends over at Jalopnik recently uncovered a series of spy shots of the new sedan along with a press release that highlight many of its winning qualities.

From what we've gathered, the new Chrysler 200 will come with two powertrain options to choose from. One is a 2.4-liter Tiger Shark four-cylinder engine that will deliver 184 horsepower and 173 lb.-ft. of torque; the other is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that kicks things up to 295 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque. Both will be paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission and rotary gear selector.

Not only that, but in terms of fuel economy, it will reportedly be able to get up to 35 mpg on the highway.

Unfortunately, we're still waiting to hear more in regards to pricing and when it will be making its way to our dealership. Until then, feel free to gain a base of comparison with a test drive in the 2014 Chrysler 200 here in Stillwater, OK, just outside of Oklahoma City. Like we said: you've got a lot to look forward to.
